School matinees

They love each other passionately as only teenagers can.  However, their families are addicted to hatred, and embrace a culture of endless violence.  To be united with her Romeo, Juliet dares to face the terrors of the tomb.  But not even the best of plans can change the inevitable course of disaster.
Matinee dates are November 14, 20, 21 at 10:00 a.m.  The location is Third Baptist Church, Johnson Hall, 620 N. Grand (at Washington, across from the Fox Theatre.)  The cost is $8 per student.  For more information, please leave a message at our box office, (341) 361-5664.

St. Louis Shakespeare presents the Midwest premiere of a "new" Shakespeare play!  The Reign of King Edward the Third concerns two campaigns of the 14th-century English king. One is military, conducted against France to assert Edward's claim to its throne; the other is amorous, conducted against the virtue of the Countess of Salisbury, whose husband is a loyal subject.  Be the first one on your block to see this newly discovered gem!
Matinees will be staged in Spring, 2009.  The location is the Orthwein Theatre at Mary Institute / Country Day School.  The cost is $8 per student.  For more information, please leave a message at our box office, (341) 361-5664.
