Magic Smoking Monkey Theatre

 

 

St. Louis Shakespeare holds auditions for ROMEO & JULIET on Wednesday, August 6 from 6pm - 9pm at the Grandel Theatre, 3610 Grandel Square (1 block north of the Fox Theatre).  Non-Equity actors of all ages and ethnicities are sought; all roles are open.  AUDITIONS ARE BY APPOINTMENT ONLY.  Please prepare a 1-2 minute monologue from any Shakespeare play and bring a photo and resume.  To schedule an audition appointment or for more information, email audition@stlshakespeare.org.  

Performance dates/times:
November 14 - 23, 2008, Friday & Saturday at 8pm, Sunday at 2pm and Thursday at 7:30pm.  PLEASE NOTE:  There are weekday matinee performances at 10am on Friday, Nov. 14, Thursday, Nov. 20 and Friday, Nov. 21.

Director:
Jef Awada.  Mr. Awada co-directed SLS' 2007 production of DOGG'S HAMLET, CAHOOT'S MACBETH as is an instructor at Webster Conservatory.

Rehearsal Dates/Times:
Monday - Thursday from 7pm - 10pm and Sundays from 12 noon - 4pm at Third Baptist Church, 620 N. Grand (across from the Fox Theatre).  Rehearsals will begin on Monday, October 6, 2008.
