ARTISTIC DIRECTOR
DONNA NORTHCOTT - Donna founded the company in 1984 as an outgrowth of her love and appreciation for the works of William Shakespeare while a student in the Theater Department of St. Louis University. With the help of like-minded Shakespeare enthusiasts, her dream of building a Repertory company that specialized in producing works by the Bard has grown into a considerable success. Donna regularly traveled between Chicago, where she received a Masters in Directing at Northwestern University, and St. Louis during the summer until she finally moved back to St. Louis. Donna has worked at the Goodman Theater in Chicago, and recently resigned her position as the Director of the Science Theater Caravan, the Theater Outreach Program at the St. Louis Science Center, in order to pursue a full time career with St. Louis Shakespeare.
